A basketball backstop net is installed directly behind the hoop to catch air balls, missed shots, and out-of-bounds play. This is the most common basketball netting application for both residential and commercial settings.
Our backstop nets are available in a range of sizes starting from compact 10 x 10 ft panels for single-hoop residential installs up to large custom panels for multi-hoop facilities. The net hangs from a cable or pipe system attached to the wall or ceiling and can be rigged to fold away when not in use.
For homeowners and HOA courts, the K18 lightweight option provides reliable containment at a lower cost per square foot. For schools, gyms, and recreation facilities where the net will be in continuous daily use, we recommend our K36 knotted polyester construction for long-term durability.
