We offer a wide variety of pickleball nets and accessories. Our nets are constructed using polyester, which is stronger, stretches less and is more resistant to UV light than nylon. Nets are available in economy grade for light usage, medium grade for light/medium competition and professional competition grade. All nets are manufactured with a vinyl-covered aircraft grade cable and suspended by our strong, tear-resistant cable-to-net system. The net is constructed of treated, knotted polyester with 1 3/4" square mesh, providing a breaking strength of over 300 lbs. per cord.
Accessories include heavy duty posts, sleeves, pulleys and hooks designed to withstand heavy use and outdoor environments and to allow for removal and re-installation of the net, poles and hardware. Posts and sleeves are heavy gauge, galvanized steel.

Pickleball Court Containment Netting and Barrier Nets
Pickleball containment netting — also called surround netting, barrier netting, or perimeter netting — is installed around the outside of the court to keep balls within the play area. Without containment netting, balls constantly leave the court during play, slowing the game and creating hazards on adjacent courts. On multi-court facilities, containment netting between courts is essential for uninterrupted play on neighboring courts.
West Coast Netting manufactures custom pickleball court containment netting in any dimension. Standard court surround configurations use panels along the sidelines and end lines at heights of 10 to 12 feet, though taller panels of 14 to 16 feet are common on outdoor courts where lobs and high shots clear lower perimeter netting. For multi-court indoor facilities, divider panels between courts are typically 10 to 12 feet tall and run the full court length.
Our pickleball barrier netting is available in lightweight K18 construction for indoor facilities and standard recreational outdoor courts, and in K36 knotted polyester for high-traffic outdoor courts that see heavy daily play and year-round weather exposure. Both options are available in black and white to match your court or facility aesthetic.

Regulation pickleball net dimensions are defined by USA Pickleball (USAPA) and are the same whether you are playing indoors or outdoors, recreationally or in tournament competition. Here are the official specifications:
- Net width (length): 21 feet 9 inches (6.7 meters) — this is the net itself; the total post-to-post span is 22 feet
- Net height at the posts: 36 inches (0.914 meters)
- Net height at center: 34 inches (0.864 meters)
- Mesh size: No larger than 2 3/8 inches (6 cm) square — our nets use 1 3/4" square mesh
- Top cord: Smooth cord or cable, 2 inches (5 cm) wide, covered in white tape
- Post height above court surface: 36 inches
The 2-inch drop from the posts to the center of the net is intentional and is part of the official specification. The net must sag to 34 inches at the centerline during play. This is one of the most common installation questions we receive — it is correct and by design, not a sign that the net is improperly tensioned.
Pickleball Net vs Tennis Net
Pickleball nets and tennis nets are not interchangeable. A tennis net is 42 inches at the posts and 36 inches at center — taller at both points than a pickleball net. The court widths also differ significantly: a pickleball court is 20 feet wide, while a standard singles tennis court is 27 feet wide. If you are converting a tennis court for pickleball play, the existing tennis net posts can often be used with pickleball-specific net hardware, but the net itself must be replaced with a regulation pickleball net to achieve the correct 36/34-inch height profile.
